Like each developmental stage of life, older adulthood offers the chance to grow and complete important life tasks.
Meet Dianne Westwood and Lin Langley, who will guide conversation about the place of older adults in today’s world; adapting to health and physical changes; current roles and relationships; unfinished business; values that strengthen us as we near the end of life.
Before the workshop you’ll do some writing at home to read into a small group. The workshop is not focused on writing. It is a structured, supportive small group session where we reflect on our lives, share our questions and understandings, and hear how our experiences impact others.
The themes and writing are carefully planned to help you reflect upon, connect to, and make sense of the life you have lived and are living.
If you are interested in attending one of these sessions, we ask you to have a brief conversation with either Lin or Dianne to ensure that you and this workshop are a good fit. We’ll arrange a phone or Zoom call before the workshop at a time that’s mutually convenient. Please contact Dianne Westwood at 604-228-0870 at least 1 week before the session if you are interested in attending.
