Woodworking

Return to Activity Directory

Our woodwork shop is free to use for any Brock House member with some woodworking experience, who has completed a safety orientation.   Orientations are normally offered on some Thursday afternoons starting at Noon.  If you have no woodworking experience, but would like to learn, contact us to discuss options.

Some of our tools present extra safety risks, or are subject to damage with misuse, and may require additional instruction beyond the basic orientation.

Woodworkers are required to sign a release form before using the shop, to sign in and out as they enter and leave the shop, and should review the shop rules.

The shop open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.  On Mondays and Thursdays before 11:30 a.m., the shop is reserved for volunteers working on fund raising projects to support Brock House.

For more information or to schedule an orientation, contact us at bhwworkers@gmail.com.
