Bill Lomax, a member of the Gitxsan Nation in Northern B.C., is the new President and CEO of the First Nations Bank of Canada, a Canadian chartered bank. A graduate of U.B.C. law school, he then went on and took his Master of Business Administration degree at Columbia University in New York. As an Adjunct Lecturer at Stanford University he lectures on creating wealth through investments by and for Indigenous clients. In 2015 he joined Goldman Sachs and has grown a portfolio of more than $2 billion. Mr. Lomax recently returned to B.C. as head of the First Nations Bank of Canada.
