Whether recycling events from your life into short stories , writing a fiction novel or a children’s story you must learn to play around with your imagination and tell a story that is compelling and intriguing. “EXPLORING YOUR IMAGINATION” is the theme of the next 8 weeks of “Write From the Heart”. We will explore all the fundamentals of fiction and memoir: characters, action, specific time and place etc. Sometimes when examining memorable moments w e realize that nothing really happened. What we really remember are the emotions, the sights, or perhaps the atmosphere. Ask yourself “What if?” Forget about what really happened. Think of all the things that might have happened. In both fiction and non-fiction stories something must always happen. This is where you need “explore your imagination”.
