Week 2 - Health care through the life cycles- 2nd half of life
TCM encompasses a variety of preventative techniques that help make the aging process easier and even slow down. These include manual therapies, such as acupuncture and massage; Chinese herbal medicine; and exercises like tai chi and qi gong, whose gentle movements and low physical impact are ideal to stay limber and energized. Week 3 - What is energy healing, how is it used in Eastern medicine?
Energy healing is a holistic practice that activates the body's subtle energy systems to remove blocks. Dr. Gabrielle Steinberg has been working in health and wellness for over 20 years. She is a Doctor of Chinese medicine, Registered Acupuncturist, Holistic Nutritionist and Craniosacral Therapist.
Inspired to support people in their innate capacities to heal, she has studied a wide range of therapies in order to provide very comprehensive, holistic and supportive treatments.
To complement the treatments, and always keeping in mind a person’s lifestyle, personal needs and constitution, food and lifestyle advice is given in an approachable and easily integrated way.
