Pride Month: Movie & Discussion - A Secret Love
About this event
Hosted by Indira Riadi from Dignity Seniors Society & Habana Vior from Brock House Society
Celebrate Pride Month at Brock House with a special series of Movies & Discussions hosted by Queer Aging BC (formerly Dignity Seniors Society). Each session features a thoughtfully selected film followed by a facilitated discussion, offering an opportunity to reflect, share perspectives, and engage in meaningful conversation.
On July 7, our 3rd and last session, we will be watching the movie A Secret Love. It chronicles the inspiring seven-decade romance of Terry and Pat Henschel, who hid their lesbian relationship from their conservative families for nearly 65 years allowing them to finally come out in their twilight years.
Non-member guests are welcome. Bring a friend or family member to share in this enriching experience.
Kay'la Fraser is passionate about the work at Dignity Seniors Society, and recently joined the team.
