Pride Month: Movie & Discussion - The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert
About this event
Hosted by Indira Riadi from Dignity Seniors Society & Habana Vior from Brock House Society
Celebrate Pride Month at Brock House with a special series of Movies & Discussions hosted by Queer Aging BC (formerly Dignity Seniors Society). Each session features a thoughtfully selected film followed by a facilitated discussion, offering an opportunity to reflect, share perspectives, and engage in meaningful conversation.
On June 30, our 2nd session, we will be watching the movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, a 1994 Australian comedy-drama about three drag performers crossing the outback in a bus named Priscilla.
Non-member guests are welcome. Bring a friend or family member to share in this enriching experience.
Indira Riadi is the Executive Director of the Dignity Seniors Society (DSS), an organization dedicated to creating culturally appropriate services and advocating for systemic change for 2SLGBTQIA+ seniors.
