Instructor: Cara Bain
Discover the beauty of nature through drawing and painting in this immersive, hands-on course designed for beginners and intermediate artists alike.
We’ll begin with foundational sketching techniques, exploring the shapes, textures, and details found in flowers, leaves, and other natural forms. From there, you’ll learn how to sketch simple landscapes, developing skills in creating natural shapes, shading, and depth.
As the course progresses, you’ll dive into a guided landscape painting project where you’ll learn to paint trees, mountains, and skies while exploring colour mixing, brushwork, and layering.
Through in-depth demonstration and lots of one-on-one support, you’ll leave with the skills, confidence, and tools to capture the beauty of nature on both page and canvas.
