The Endangered Listening Culture
About this event
Presented by Ivy Clark
In a world awash in noise and urgency, many of us - especially those who carry the wisdom of years - feel the ache for genuine connection. What does it mean to be truly listened to, with deep care? What transforms in us when we listen in return? This invitation is to an ancient, essential practice: wholehearted listening. Listening that honours the mystery and story of the other, and the sacredness of relationship itself. Bring not only your wisdom, but your questions and your curiosity. In this talk, we’ll explore how listening can transform how we live, connect, and belong across the arc of a lifetime. (Role-play exercises will be gently facilitated.)
