About this event
Presented by Ivy Clark
Grief is, in the words of C.S. Lewis, “like a long valley, a winding valley where any bend may reveal a totally new landscape.” It is a terrain marked by uncertainty, vulnerability, and the ache of love remembered. Yet grief is not a solitary path, but one illuminated by shared stories and gentle listening.
Ivy invites you into an open-hearted inquiry into the nature of loss—not to reduce it or resolve it with easy answers, but to dwell with the questions grief asks of us all. How do we honor our mourning in a world eager to move beyond sorrow? In what ways can we walk alongside one another through the unfamiliar terrain of loss?
This introductory talk serves as an informative prelude to a 7-session Grief Care Circle
If you are seeking space to pause, reflect, and be present to your own experience and to the stories of others, I invite you to join this talk and register for the Grief Care Circle as a Sacred Companion. Together, we seek not the end of grief, but a deeper understanding of its shape—and perhaps the unexpected hope and grace that can be found there.
