Explore and appreciate the beauty and depth of classical music through lively pre-concert talks. Each session offers insight into works being performed live in Vancouver, with a close look at the pieces, related works by the same composer, and useful comparisons. Participants may request a specific concert or piece. These bi-weekly sessions are an invitation to deepen your understanding of musical masterpieces.
Born in Australia, Matt Stapleton holds a Bachelor of Music and a Diploma of Education. He has taught, performed, conducted, and composed in schools and communities throughout Western Australia and England. He moved to Vancouver in 2022.

Non-member registration starts on Friday, January 9 by phone or in person only (no online registration)

Cancellation Policy:
Please read the Brock House Society refund policy prior to registering for activities (courses, events, tours) that have a fee.
- There is a $10 processing fee for ALL cancellations.
- To ensure that classes and events can go ahead as planned, members must cancel a class or event no later than 3 days prior to the start/event date to be eligible for refunds. No refunds are given after this deadline.
- To be eligible for a refund of tours, cancellation requests must be received 7 days prior to the tour. No refunds are given after this deadline.
- If Brock House needs to cancel a course/event/tour due to low attendance, a full refund will be provided.
