As fall arrives, many birds return to the Lower Mainland to spend winter on local waters. Join ornithologist Yousif Attia for four birding forays exploring aquatic visitors and parkland species. Learn identification, behavior, and habitat tips. The first session at Jericho Beach, next to Brock House, is designed for novices; which includes gear guidance. Other sessions will include a brief introduction and best practices for bird watching.
This week, we will meet at Reifel Bird Sanctuary- details will be sent out a few days before the session about meeting details. See Yousif's other fieldtrips on the

Please register for each session separately, we will meet at each location. Please bring your binoculars and dress appropriately for the weather.

Cancellation Policy:
Please read the Brock House Society refund policy prior to registering for activities (courses, events, tours) that have a fee.
- There is a $10 processing fee for ALL cancellations.
- To ensure that classes and events can go ahead as planned, members must cancel a class or event no later than 3 days prior to the start/event date to be eligible for refunds. No refunds are given after this deadline.
- To be eligible for a refund of tours, cancellation requests must be received 7 days prior to the tour. No refunds are given after this deadline.
- If Brock House needs to cancel a course/event/tour due to low attendance, a full refund will be provided.
