Margaret is both a retired lawyer as well as a retired social psychologist. She has received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her volunteerism and a K.C. (King's Counsel) designation for her legal work. . In her newly published book, Lost Legacies: Learning from Ancestral Stories for Inspiration and Policy-Making Today, Margaret Ostrowski opens our eyes to the power of our ancestors' stories - their escapes from hostile regimes and incredible resilience despite brutal hardships. Her book won a Gold Winner award from the U.S. Non-Fiction Book Awards.
Connect with authors of books you’ve loved and books you’ll surely want to read. In this intermittent series, authors will read from their books, share their experiences, answer your questions, and sign copies of their books. Expect exciting talks on a wide range of good books, both fiction and non-fiction.
