About this event
Presented by Nina Shoroplova
Some of the ornamental trees around Brock House were planted 111 years ago, and the native trees are considerably older than that. Learn about their history on a one-hour walk through the Brock House grounds led by Nina Shoroplova, tree expert and author of “Legacy of Trees: Purposeful Wandering in Vancouver's Stanley Park." Nina’s remarks will draw from Jo Pleshakov's book, "Thorley House to Brock House: From Family Home to Heritage Landmark, 1912-2012."
We will meet at the front entrance at 10 am.
If there's enough interest, Nina might be able to provide Brock House members with another walk and talk on Thursday, May 8 from 10 to 11 am. Please put yourself on the waitlist for further information.
