About this event
Based on true events. In 1941, a young lawyer (Chadwick Boseman), who later becomes the first African-American Supreme Court Justice, takes on one of his career-defining cases. He defends a chauffeur (Sterling K. Brown) who is black and has been accused of rape by his white employer (Kate Hudson). The trial reveals untruths that affect the result of the case.
