Discover, explore, learn and taste wines from British Columbia. This 6 week program will encapsulate the history, geography and the wineries of British Columbia. We will delve into the industry and how it affects you as the consumer. The secrets of pairing BC wines will be revealed. (Instructing in house) (See full description below.)

Minimum to run this class is 20 people.
Cancellation Policy:
Please read the Brock House Society refund policy prior to registering for activities (courses, events, tours) that have a fee.

- There is a $10 processing fee for ALL cancellations.
- To ensure that classes and events can go ahead as planned, members must cancel a class or event no later than 3 days prior to the start/event date to be eligible for refunds. No refunds are given after this deadline.
- To be eligible for a refund of tours, cancellation requests must be received 7 days prior to the tour. No refunds are given after this deadline.
- If Brock House needs to cancel a course/event/tour due to low attendance, a full refund will be provided.

About this event

COURSE will take place in house. 

The participants are asked to bring their own bread, cheese and other snacks but not sweet to compliment the wine tasting.


Week 1

Fraser Valley and Gulf Islands

We will cover the history, geography vines and wines of this region. Their speciality, limitations, strengths and of course their wines.

 

Week 2

Kootenays and Lillooet

We will cover the history, geography vines and wines of this region. Their speciality, limitations, strengths and of course their wines.

 

Week 3

Okanagan Valley

We will cover the history, geography vines and wines of this region. Their speciality, limitations, strengths and of course their wines.

 

Week 4

Shuswap and Similkameen Valley.

We will cover the history, geography vines and wines of this region. Their speciality, limitations, strengths and of course their wines.

 

Week 5

Thompson Valley and Vancouver Island.

We will cover the history, geography vines and wines of this region. Their speciality, limitations, strengths and of course their wines.

 

Week 6

Conclusion

This will be a summary of the entire course and we will discuss the future of BC Wines.
