Library
The Library Committee is gathering book donations for the Summer Fair. They accept:

Fiction (preferably no more than 5 years since publication);

Mysteries (preferably no more than 5 years since publication);

Non-fiction: biographies and history only.

Paperbacks are preferred.
Please note they take no more than 10 books at a time, delivered in person to the Library, and they do not accept boxes of books at any time.

Chinese Cultural Week
Chinese Tea Ceremony
Join us for a demonstration of Chinese tea making led by Qian Wu, and immerse yourself into this rich culture with a cup of tea (or even better, two) and a snack. Qian will be accompanied by translator Peter Zhang.

Celebrate Tai Chi World Day with a workshop by Kelly Maclean
This art improves posture and body alignment through muscular strength and flexibility. It has become interesting for researchers and practitioners for improving balance and heart health, boosting confidence, and reducing stress, but it also has mental benefits. This practice is recognized as one of the most powerful ways to improve both physical, and mental health.
Everyone can benefit – no matter your age or fitness level. It’s the tried-and-true practice of athletes and the elderly!
