A big thank you to AdvanTec and Paul Churchill-Browne, the Facility Manager at AdvanTec, for their generous donation of office furniture.
If you’d like to donate before the end of the year, please note that we will issue official tax receipts for contributions of $25 or more.
You can use e-transfer payments for donations, memberships, and renewals. Here’s how:

Take a screenshot of your receipt once you make the e-transfer.

Email the picture to officevolunteers@bhsociety.ca including your full name.

Winter Program
Be sure to take a look at the brand-new 2025 Winter Program Guide.

Members can register starting January 9 at 10 am.

Non-members can register for courses starting January 16; and for certain events(such as the Robbie Burns celebration) starting January 9.

You can pay for programs and events by cash or card in person at the office, or online by credit card.

Robbie Burns Day

Celebrate the life and poetry of Scottish poet Robbie Burns, who was born on January 25, 1759 and is sometimes calledScotland’s National Poet.His works have been translated into over 50 languages and have inspired music written by famous classical and folk music composers. To many Scottish Canadians, Burns is an icon of Scottish culture. His statue stands at the entrance to Stanley Park.
