Attention Please

Room changes 

  • Sing-Along will be in the Begg Room for the rest of the season

  • Advanced French Conversation Group 1 moved from the Games Room to the Sun Room on Oct 25


Cancellations

  • Romantic Wines of the World has been cancelled

  • Computer Drop-in is cancelled on October 21 & 28 

  • Jazz band will not be rehearsing in-house on October 23

As we strive to maintain the quality of our programs, services, and facilities, we must address many rising costs, particularly those related to utilities and Vancouver Park Board obligations. We’re grateful for your understanding that this fee increase is absolutely necessary, and we thank you for supporting Brock House Society as we rise to meet this challenge.

Upcoming Events 

Dance to the Music: a social afternoon

A great opportunity to meet new people and dance to the music of the Brock House Jazz Band, who will be playing popular tunes selected just for you. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just want to hang out and listen to good live music, this is a great way to spend your Wednesday afternoon.

Wednesday, October 30 & November 20, 2 to 4 pm, Whittaker Conservatory. Free for members and guests. Registration is recommended, but drop-ins are welcome.

Seniors Online Support (SOS)

Are You Feeling Down or Anxious? Seniors’ Online Support (SOS) Can Help.

Simon Fraser University is looking for older adults with lived experience of mental health challenges to test an online mental health peer support platform for older adults in British Columbia. You will connect with others who can relate to you, in a safe and supportive environment.
