Sports Day today
Get ready to enjoy outdoor games, socialize and create memories with like-minded members. Croquet, chess, horseshoes, badminton, bocce, Jenga, lawn bowling, and more! Food and refreshments. All participation levels are welcomed and encouraged!
Today, Sept. 13, 11 am to 2 pm, north and west lawn. Free.
A request from Peake
Please do not interrupt Peake Catering staff when they are on site visits with clients. Clients have commented on interruptions before, and Peake would like to just have their Sales Manager and the client focused on the visit.
BH Orchestra needs players

The BH Orchestra is looking for new members. Players of all orchestral instruments are welcome.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to refine your skills, enjoy the camaraderie of fellow musicians, and contribute to beautiful performances.
Rehearsals are led by a professional conductor.

Hot meals in the Bistro on Wednesdays
We’re happy to announce that throughout the month of September, the Bistro will be offering full hot lunches on Wednesdays. A big thank you to Robin, who will be preparing this delicious food.
And of course, the Bistro team will continue to serve their delicious homemade sandwiches and soups as usual.
Bistro volunteers needed
The Bistro volunteer team has opportunities for members. We especially need on-call help when regular volunteers are absent. We'll provide the training you need. If you'd like to contribute some time, please reach out to Anapaula at anapaula@bhsociety.ca.

Final Sunset Social
Enjoy the sunset, the live music, and a glass of wine or beer outside in our beautiful beach setting. Mingle with friends, listen to the band, and dance! This Tuesday is our last Sunset Social of the summer, so of course we’re going to feature the jazz, swing and blues music of that Brock House favourite The Dog Ears.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Commemoration
Join us for a traditional luncheon highlighting Indigenous cuisine as part of our important National Day of Truth and Reconciliation event. Our keynote speaker is Debra Sparrow (θəliχʷəlʷət), a Musqueam weaver, artist, and knowledge keeper.
Thursday, September 26, noon to 2 pm, in the tent. Registration is required. Members $30, non-members $35.
National Seniors Day Variety Showcase
Brock House Society is joining other community-based seniors groups to celebrate National Seniors Day. Enjoy music, comedy, crafts, and socializing. Entertainment for seniors, by seniors.
Tuesday, October 1, 1 to 4 pm. Roundhouse Community Centre.
