Sadly, today was the last day at Brock House for Megan Gerlach, our multi-talented outgoing Program and Communications Coordinator. Megan is leaving us for personal reasons, and the search for a suitable replacement will begin upon Eda’s return in early September.
We wish Megan much success in her future endeavours.

BHS closed Monday, September 2
Chef Najia will be away
The Bistro will not be offering full meals between August 27 and September 23 while our chef Najia is away. However, you can still enjoy our delicious baked goods, freshly made sandwiches, and hot soups. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Thank you for your support.
Volunteers Needed
The Bistro volunteer team urgently needs assistance on Wednesdays, especially on-call help when regular volunteers are absent. If you’d like to contribute some time, please contact Anapaula atanapaula@bhsociety.ca. We’ll provide the training you need.

Our next show will be “Jersey Boys,” onstage at the Stanley Theatre. This is the award-winning musical that ran on Broadway for over ten years, based on the true story of four scrappy young men who become The Four Seasons, that iconic 60s group whose hits include “Sherry” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”

Member Forum
This month’s roundtable is a great time to ask questions and share ideas and suggestions with our Executive Director, Membership Director, and other BHS board and committee members. Learn about BHS activities and talk to convenors about their programs. All members are welcome, whether new or longtime. Your feedback really does matter! Light refreshments will be provided.

Sunset Socials
Enjoy the sunset, the live music, and a glass of wine or beer outside in the tent, a perfect place to take in our beautiful beach setting. Mingle with friends, listen to the band, and work on your dance moves.
