Bocce, one of the oldest of all lawn games, can be traced back to games played in Egypt along the Nile Delta around 5000 BC. Two to eight players may be accommodated for each pitch. Number of pitches to be determined by the number of participants. Initially Bocce will be scheduled for Monday at 1 pm. More days and times may be added. Notification goes out on Friday via email inviting members to sign up for the next week's match. Everyone is invited to join by contacting George at geo1vancouver@gmail.com to get on the participation list.
